This year we are planning an exciting agenda to include the annual straw assessment; Active seminars on planning in the New Forest; Discussions about reed growing in Norfolk. From 9.00	Straw Assessment Following the harvest of last year’s Triticale test plots the samples are available for members to assess and record their findings on the questionnaire.

Weald and Downland Museum Autumn Fair 2010

The Autumn Fair at the Weald and Downland Museum took place between the 9th & 10th October 2010. Members of the public were able to meet with Master thatchers and have their questions answered.

The National spar making competition was held on the Saturday afternoon in the main ring.
